Instructions - Island vector image + text

Island vector image + text / Text block with vector

Choose between a single text box paired with a vector image or two text boxes. To switch between these options, navigate to "Settings" at the top of the component.

If you select "Texts," add content to the "Left Block" and "Right Block." If you select "Vector image + text," choose an image for the "Image" field and add your content to the "Text Block."

Text length determines the box height, while the page theme dictates the color. If the text is long, the image will stretch to accommodate it. You can position the image on either the left or right side.

When using two text boxes, aim to keep the content in each roughly equal in length. Break your text into paragraphs to improve readability.

You can add one or two links at the bottom of a text box. These links can direct users to internal pages or external websites.

Reykjavík City Cycling Plan

Reykir City's Biking Plan is a guide for promoting cycling and developing cycling infrastructure.

Increased cycling is economical, benefits the environment, public health and quality of life, and creates a better city.

Your history

The Municipal Archives seeks to preserve letters, diaries, photographs, household accounts, postcards, greeting cards, and anything that can shed light on people's lives in the city.

It collects documents from people of all classes, both younger and older archives, large and small.

Private documents often provide a different view of the life and history of city residents than public documents, making it very important that they are preserved for the future.

Your background

The Municipal Archives can provide information about your past. For example, about adoptions, stays in nurseries, or old exam grades from primary school.

Reykjavík Municipal Archives is open to all without admission.

As a general rule, anyone who wishes may access documents in the archives' custody.

Democratic Cooperation

The strongest prevention against bullying is for children to learn in an organized way to play and work together under the guiding lights of democracy, human rights, and equality.

As stated in the National Curriculum, these core values should be integrated throughout all schooling, not limited to specific lessons.

The SFS Recreation Center Procedure Manual defines communication and social skills as the key factors to foster in all recreational activities.

Scholars have also argued that, in order to prevent bullying, everyone needs to master tolerance for their fellow human beings and, in particular, those considered in some way to be outside the established group.
